About BDS:

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) is an undergraduate degree program. This is a 5-year degree course that includes 4 years of academic sessions and 1-year internet ship with practical knowledge.

BDS: Course Highlights

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) Eligibility :

  1. Applicants looking for a BDS must have fulfilled the eligibility criteria mentioned below.
  2. Intermediate 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) as mandatory subjects.
  3. A minimum aggregate score of 50% at both Higher & Senior Secondary levels (classes 10th & 12th), and at the level of graduation.
  4. The age limit for the BDS program is 20 years for General category and 24 years for the reserved category.

BDS Admission Process:

BDS Admission takes place through the NEET exam. Candidates also need to go through different entrance exams conducted at the national level and state level. However, NEET is compulsory exam to take alongside.

Selection is based on marks obtained in the respective entrance exam, followed by a round of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. With these rounds, candidates are shortlisted. After completing all the rounds successfully, there is a final interview, and seats are allocated as per the performance in the examination.
