Sree Uthradom Thirunal Academy of Medical Sciences is one of the leading medical institutes in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, India. The medical college is popularly known as the SUT Academy of Medical Sciences. The academy was founded in 2006 with an annual admission of 100 students.

SUT Academy of Medical Sciences is founded and managed by Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust, A unit of Rajarajeswari Group of Institutions, was founded in the year 1992. As far as the academic programs are concerned, currently, only MBBS seats are offered through the Undergraduate program.

SUT Academy of Medical Sciences: Eligibility Criteria

SUT Academy of Medical Sciences Thiruvananthapuram offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. SUT Academy of Medical Sciences: Admission Process

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All-India Entrance Exam i.e., NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. SUT Academy of Medical Sciences offers MD and MS Courses along with the Super specialty program. 

Students who wish to take admission to this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counselling conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations an integral body of Kerala Higher Educations Institutions. Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling.

SUT Academy of Medical Sciences offers bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. The MBBS course in this college is 5.5 years long including 1 year of mandatory internship.
