Eligibility Criteria

Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College & Hospital, Pune offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. SKNMC, Pune is a privately established medical Institution in the state facilitating with appropriate reservation as per the order mentioned by DMER, Mumbai. For MBBS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
  • Candidates need to attain 17 years of age till 31st of Dec. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
  • Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
  • Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
  • Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

Admission Process:

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses in SKNMC, Pune are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. Smt. Hospital for Clinical Practice:

The present form of the hospital initially acquired its status in 2006 with just 300 beds and 25 ICU ward beds but later gradually the hospital transformed to a Multi-Specialty treatment center and expand its capacity to 1094 beds with 840 teaching beds, 80 ICU beds, 40 Casualty beds and 48 Recovery beds in OT. Smt. Kashibai Navale General Hospital is one of the most advanced and ultra-modern treatment centers among very few Medical Institutes across Maharashtra. The Hospital is accredited by NABH i.e. National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers.

Kashibai Navale General Hospital is equipped with dedicated OutPatient departments and a separate Inward Patient department with a 500 bedded facility. Respective specialty services are offered in OPDs like Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Dermatology, etc along with other allied departments. All dedicated wards have a central oxygen supply, suction system, an expert team of Physicians and Surgeons, etc. to take care of suffering patients residing nearby Pune and other districts.
  • The Hospital has an advanced Casualty and Emergency department which is equipped with 40 beds excluding 5 beds of the Cardiac Care Unit. Besides it, the Emergency labor ward has 3 beds, the Trauma Unit has 12 beds and General Casualty has 20 beds. The Casualty unit is well equipped with Ventilator, Multipara Monitors, Pulse Oxymeters, Defibrillators, and Central Oxygen & Suction system. Kashibai Navale General Hospital has been recognized by the “Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine”.
