The BIU, Bareilly was established as a self-financing University under Article 26, of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature. Hence all on-going courses are now under the Bareilly International University.

Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital, Bareilly offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. For MBBS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
  • Candidates need to attain 17 years of age on or before the 31st of Dec in the year of admission. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
  • Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
  • Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
  • Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

Note: Students need to fill a ‘Service Bond’ that they will serve in the Govt. Hospital for a period of 02 years as ‘Senior Residents’. Failing to do so will invite a penalty of 40 lacs however for leaving the job in the middle of service will be compensated by a penalty of 1 Crore Rs.
