Prakash Institute of Medical Sciences is the newest established medical institute in the Sangli district in the state of Maharashtra. The college is popularly known as PIMS, and privately established by Prakash Sikshan Mandal.

PIMS was established in 2016 and affiliated to ‘Maharashtra University of Health Sciences’ i.e. MUHS, Nashik. The college is well approved by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI). Currently, PIMS offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level. The duration of the course is 5.6 yrs including 1 year of Mandatory Internship. Eligibility Criteria:

Prakash Institute of Medical Sciences offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level. PIMS, Sangli is a privately established medical Institution in the state facilitating with appropriate reservation as per the order mentioned by DMER, Mumbai.   • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same.
