Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur: Eligibility Criteria

Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses in PMCH, Udaipur, the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 45% in the same. 
  • Candidates need to attain 17 years of age. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. PMCH, Udaipur offers MD and MS Courses along with the Superspecialty program.

Being one of the Newest Medical Colleges in Rajasthan, Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur is offering several Advanced Postgraduate Medical Courses. College offers several Clinical and Non-clinical courses with a duration of 3 years. All the admissions to these PG Courses are based on the score of NEET-PG. 

Candidates need to participate in the counseling conducted by MCC and the state medical counseling board namely State Counselling Board, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS)  for State Domicile quotas.

More than 2000 patients visit the hospital daily which offers a unique opportunity to learn the art of clinical medicine.

Besides it, an advanced Emergency Complex is integrated into the hospital that runs around the clock, i.e. 24*7. The hospital acts as a teaching hospital to its undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as interns so that to acquire professional training and gain expertise in their field of interest.

Pacific Hospital is supported by state of art Radiology department, diagnostic labs, dialysis center and also has facilities for advanced critical care units. Above all, medicines of standard pharma companies are offered to needy patients at discounted rates, which are available to them by the Pharmacy store of the hospital. Some significant facilities provided by Pacific Hospital are mentioned below.

  • The department of Radiodiagnosis & Imaging is co-located with the Central Registration and Emergency. It has four X-Ray rooms with 300 & 500 mA static digital X-Ray machines and 100 mA mobile ones. Digital machines have a fluoroscopy facility that makes the department unique. The department is under expansion with an MRI and CT Scanner being under procurement.
  • The Pathology Department of Pacific Hospital is functioning as an umbrella department that comprises Histopathology, Oncopathology, Cytopathology, Immunology, Clinical Pathology, Microbiology, etc. all the sub-departments are equipped with highly sophisticated and the latest models of equipment. The department of Microbiology has sections for Bacteriology, Virology, and Mycobacteriology.
  • Pacific Hospital has fully functional and multi-advanced Intensive Care Units which are equipped with a total of 25 ICU beds. ICU beds are fully equipped and modern enough to tackle critical patients. ICUs of Pacific Hospital deals with a spectrum of patients including Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Surgical ICU (SICU), Paediatric ICU (PICU), Neonatal ICU (NICU), Cardio Vascular Surgical ICU (CTVS ICU).
  • Pacific Hospital has a total of 7 major OTs that are operational. The Operation Theatres are fully air-conditioned with HEPA filters and are modular. Each OT is equipped with high-quality OT lights and a state-of-the-art Anaesthesia work station, Monitors, Defibrillators, Ventilators, Infusion Pumps, C-Arm image intensifier, and other accessories. One major & one minor OT is available in the Casualty department. Minor OTs are also available in Surgical, Gynaecology, and ENT OPDs. There are 14 Pre-Operative and same in Post-Operative beds in the Surgery department.      
  • As far as the social responsibility of Pacific Hospital is concerned, the hospital regularly organizes free medical and health camps. Over 100 such camps have been organized so far in the district of Udaipur and the nearby region. Department of Community Medicine is very soon to be operational for actively participating in public health education and all the National health programs.
