What is OJEE 2021?

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination(OJEE) 2021 is the administration that conducts state level entrance exams for admission in Btech/BPharma/ integrated MBA(5 years)courses at undergraduate(UG) level, MCA, MBA, M TECH / M PHARM / M ARCH / M PLAN postgraduate(PG) level within the Odisha state. OJEE has been established in 2007 by recommendation of the Policy Planning Body(PPB) for the benefit of the students to get admission for UG, PG and extended it for lateral entry(which students can directly join in 3rd semester) in reputed government institutions/private institutions based on merit approved by the government and followed by counselling for admission in various government/private colleges of Odisha. This article mainly elaborates on the entrance test, application process, and counseling for MBA entrance in Odisha at PG level through OJEE 2021. OJEE is a computerized exam which is also called CBT(Computer Based Test) generally happens once a year in the month of May. OJEE 2021: Eligibility Criteria

OJEE is one of the most important exams in Odisha that screen aspirants on requirements in the new business era. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to opt for OJEE 2021 application for MBA entrance in Odisha which is mentioned below.

 

  • Candidates from all over India, and Non-resident Indians(NRI).
  • Candidates holding a minimum 3-year degree in any stream from a recognized university with 50% marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST reserved category in the qualifying examination
  • Final year graduates also eligible to apply for the exam prescribing final mark sheet should be submitted during admission in MBA course.
  • Candidates with no age limit.

Note: The application will be canceled if the candidate fails the above-mentioned eligibility criteria

OJEE 2021: How to apply for MBA entrance in Odisha? 

Candidates are required to follow each and every step mentioned below to fill the application form.

  • Candidates need to register their application on OJEE official portal(http://www.ojee.nic.in/) only through online mode.
  • As OJEE conducts entrance exams for UG level and PG level. So there will be 5 application links which OJEE has divided into A, B, C, D, E. To appear for the MBA entrance test, a candidate needs to click on the application link named E.
  • Candidates need to fill in all required details including uploading scanned images of passport size photo, signature, and left thumb impression failing which may get disqualified to appear for OJEE 2021.
  • After filling in details, candidates are to pay 1500/- through net banking/debit card/credit card which will be non-refundable once paid.
  • Important
  • Application submitted will be successful only if
    1. Complete registration.
    2. Uploading of a scanned copy of photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression
    3. Application fee payment.
    4. Generation of Confirmation Page.
  • Candidates must keep the printout of the application and proof of fee payment for future correspondence.
  • Applying to multiple applications or multiple streams will be liable to reject the candidature immediately
  • No document needs to be submitted at the time of registration
  • All original documents should be submitted such as the 10+2 mark list, reservation(SC/ST)/category certificate which the candidate mentioned in the application for verification at the time of admission. Failing to do will be liable to reject the MBA entrance in Odisha.
  • For MBA entrance in Odisha under reservation (SC/ST/PwD/Women) quota, candidates must need to submit a nativity certificate (i.e Appendix I have given in the information brochure) during the admission process failing to do so will automatically cancel the reservation quota.
  • All PWD(Person with Disabilities) candidates are required to undergo the medical standard report which is conducted by OJEE 2021 medical board in SCB Medical College, Cuttack which will be announced before counseling.
  • On OJEE merit-based, candidates from Odisha state can get admission in government/ private institutions whereas candidates outside of Odisha will only get admission in private colleges.
  • Non-Odisha state students are not liable for lateral entry for any course.
  • For admission in government institutions, most of the seats are reserved for SC/ST/PWD and the remaining seats will get priority to Odisha native. Whereas admission in private colleges is based on the merit of a candidate.

Note: Any change will not be entertained once the application form is submitted. This is only a one-time process. So candidates are advised to fill the application carefully.

OJEE 2021: Test structure and syllabus for MBA entrance in Odisha

OJEE 2021 screen based on their analytical, problem solving, communication skills, general awareness skills. This is a standard type test that provides aspirants to think out of the box. Basically, this test consists of 120 objective questions with a 2-hour duration. Each correct answer will award 4 marks and for the wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Candidates can practice mock tests through the official portal which is a computer-based test duration of 30 min to get familiar with real examination.

  • Important: Aspirants are strictly advised to follow these rules in the examination hall.
  • Admit card- No students will be allowed without a downloaded admit card.
  • Students must bring 2 copies of admit card where one copy is to submit in the examination hall and the other one needs to get signed by the invigilator. Student must keep his/her admit card on which invigilator has signed should keep it till the admission in the University /College/Institution.
