MHT CET 2024 is one of the top entrance test examinations like JEE Mains to grant admission in Engineering and Pharmacy programs through Maharashtra and around 400 colleges/universities in the Maharashtra region. Candidates interested in pursuing advanced Undergraduate programs in Engineering or Pharmacy must register for MHT CET 2024 in January 2024. 

MHT CET 2024 exam is conducted once a year through which more than 400 Engineering Institutions and Pharmacy colleges grant admission to eligible candidates throughout Maharashtra. There are 30 Universities in Maharashtra that offer admission to Engineering programs based on the MHT CET Score.

MHT CET 2024: Exam Dates

MHT CET 2024 is going to be conducted from April 16 to May 2, 2024. The application process is likely to start from January 2024. Interested candidates can certainly apply online at https://cetcell.mahacet.org with a valid email id and mobile number. Candidates are advised to fill in all correct details of their academics and identity.

MHT CET 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be a Resident/Non-Resident Indian/OCI/PIO

• Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and adequate proficiency in English.

• Candidates must have scored 45% aggregate in the PCM and 40% in the same for the reserved category.

• Candidates born on or after July 1st, 2002 are eligible for the MHT CET 2024.

• Candidates belong to the state of Maharashtra shall be eligible for the reservation granted by the state government.

• MHT CET 2024 entrance exam allows admission in courses like B.Pharm and D.Pharm; for which candidates need to qualify for 12th with 45% aggregate in PCB and 40% in the same for the reserved category. 

MHT CET 2024: Application Form

MHT CET 2024 is going to be held between 16th April to May 2nd, 2024. Prior to that candidates need to apply online for the exam with certain details and uploading of documents followed by the payment of Application Fees.

How to Apply for MHT CET 2024?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the application form online to appear for the MHT CET 2024.

MHT CET 2024 Registration: At the very first candidates need to create a new register by providing a valid email id and a mobile number, which will be used for future communication and to access the application form for future correspondence.

MHT CET 2024 Form Filling: After registration, candidates need to fill out the application form carefully. Candidates need to provide academic details, personal and family details, correspondence address, and parents' details. Candidates need to provide preferences for the exam centers and candidates are advised to choose at least 3 exam centers of their choices based on their convenience.

Uploading of Documents: Candidates then need to upload the documents i.e. Photograph of the Candidate and the Signature of the same in the prescribed format.

MHT CET 2024 is going to be conducted between April 16th to May 2nd, 2024 tentatively and so the candidates who are interested in pursuing Undergraduate Engineering programs from more than 400 Academic Institutions located in the state of Maharashtra,

MHT CET 2024 will be 3 hours (180 minutes) long without breaks and consist of 2 papers.

All questions will be of objective type and carry 2 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for any wrong attempt. There will be no mark for unattempted questions. Candidates can skip a question if do not want to attempt. The computer will not allow any candidate to select more than 1 answer (considering the correct answer).
