Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. For MBBS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
  • Candidates need to attain 17 years of age on or before the 31st of Dec in the year of admission. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
  • Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
  • Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
  • Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

Note: Additionally students need to pay 1.20 lakhs per annum for maintenance and University charge and 5 lacs Rs. need to be paid as ‘Security Money’ which is one-time and refundable after course completion.

Students need to fill a ‘Service Bond’ that they will serve in the Govt. Hospital for a period of 02 years as ‘Senior Residents’. Failing to do so will invite a penalty of 40 lacs however for leaving the job in the middle of service will be compensated by a penalty of 1 Crore Rs.

Being one of the leading Medical Colleges in U.P, Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki provides a stipend to the PG students right from the first year of their Academics. Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences is having an Affiliating Hospital that has been providing several Specialty and Superspecialty services and is equipped with 300 beds. Mayo Hospital has separate beds for Casualty, Trauma, Pre-Operative and Post-Operative facilitating with full-fledged Modular Medical and Surgical equipment.

The Hospital has a fully functional Central Diagnostics Laboratory equipped with MRI, Spiral CT, and Colour Doppler facilities. The Hospital also has a well-developed Blood Bank which has been licensed and has a separate ‘Apheresis Unit’ that caters to the needs of the needy and Underprivileged people of the region residing nearby Barabanki.
