Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College & Hospital, Solan offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. Aspiring students need to qualify in NEET conducted by NTA followed by the counselling conducted by DMER, Shimla.

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. MMMCH, Solan offers MD and MS Courses in several clinical and paraclinical specializations, recognized by NMC, New Delhi. 

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Shimla. Being the Premier Medical College in Himachal Pradesh, Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College & Hospital, Solan offers Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. The college offers an MBBS Program that carries a duration of 4.5 years of Academic Course and 1 year of Mandatory Internship. The entire duration of the course is 5.5 years. 

Aspirants seeking admission to MMMCH, Solan need to qualify for NEET-UG. Candidates are required to go through a centralized Counselling process conducted by DMER, Shimla. 

All rounds of Counselling are held online. Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College & Hospital is imparting several P.hD. programs in medical specializations. All admissions shall be made on the basis of an entrance exam followed by the Interview taken by the MMMCH Administration.   • Candidates have to be passed MD/MS/PGD with at least 55% marks or the equivalent of Grade ‘B’ on the UGC 7 point scale.
  • Candidates who have passed M.Sc (Medical) with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade/CGPA can apply.
