What is KMAT CEE 2021?

Kerala Management Aptitude Test(KMAT) 2021 is a state entry-level for MBA entrance in Kerala. KMAT is conducted by the office of the CEE(Commissioner for entrance examinations). CEE releases time-to-time notifications regarding MBA entrance in Kerala. KMAT CEE is also referred to as KMAT CEE or MBA- KMAT CEE or CEE Kerala or KMAT Kerala as per the information provided in the official portal. KMAT Kerala will be a computer-based test conducted in various districts and cities within Kerala. These are Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam,Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur Centres on 11.04.2021 (Sunday). Candidates from all over India can take this Test. KMAT Kerala is a gateway for MBA entrance in Kerala and has great placement exposure.

KMAT Kerala 2021: Eligibility for MBA entrance in Kerala

The aspirants need to follow the eligibility criteria before applying for KMAT for MBA entrance in Kerala.

  • All Indian and Non-Indian nationality candidates are eligible to apply for this test. But only candidates from Kerala will avail communal(SC/ST)/Special/Persons with disabilities avail any type of reservation or fee concession.
  • There will be no age limit for appearing in this exam.
  • Candidates should have completed a minimum 3-year bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering/ arts/ science/ management/ commerce or equivalent with 50% marks for general category and 45% in case of SC/ST candidates by recognized AICTE or UGC universities.
  • Candidates from graduates appearing for the final year examination are also eligible to appear for this exam provided the final mark sheet needs to be produced at the admission time of KMAT Kerala. 

Note: The documents (communal(SC/ST)/special/ person with disabilities/ graduation certificate) for proof need to be produced before the College/University authorities at the admission time. These documents are not required to fill the online application form nor need to be submitted in the office of the CEE(Commissioner for Entrance Examinations).

KMAT CEE 2021: How to register for exam to get MBA entrance in Kerala

Candidates need to follow steps mentioned below for exam registration.

There are 5 steps and these steps are mandatory. Candidates are advised to complete all the steps failing to do the application will be rejected without any intimation. Candidates can find the link for online application on the official portal with “KMAT 2021 Online Application” .

  • Candidates need to register in the official website http://www.cee-kerala.org/ with email-id and password. Then computer will generate application number to register email-id
  • In this stage candidates need to fill an application form with required basic details. Before filling the application candidates are advised to read information bulletin on the official website. The data given here will process the application further. So any false or incomplete information will affect the candidates eligibility for MBA entrance in Kerala. Candidates need to make sure to fill all required details before proceeding to the next step and click on the link ‘Save and Finalize’.

Note: No modification will not be entertained after the Final submission

  • Pay the application fee
    Application fee for General and SEBC candidates is Rs.1000/- and in the case of SC/ST candidates is Rs.750/- . Applications can be submitted in online mode only. There are two payment options available for application fee. 1. Online Payment 2. e-Challan
  • Candidates who choose for online payment can use features of Internet banking account, Credit card or Debit card. Candidates must note down the steps for online payment that deduction of fee from the Bank account is not a proof of fee payment. When successful payment is taken, then the Pay Application Fee tab turns green and can proceed with uploading photo and signature. If the payment fails, the candidate should attempt the payment again by next login ensuring that Pay Application Fee is not turned in green colour. If the amount is debited from the account and showing an unsuccessful transaction, and showing no green colour then the amount will be refunded within 5 working days from the date of transaction. The final confirmation page generated after the completion of the online application submission process and will contain the payment transaction reference number also.

  • If e-challan payment mode is selected then candidates need to take print of e-challan by clicking on “Print e-challan”. Payment can be made in cash at any of the Head and Sub Post Offices in Kerala. The e-Challan should be delivered to the post office counter along with the required cash. The post office’s official will make necessary entries both in their online portal and eChallan form. Candidates must collect back the counter foil of the e-Challan with office stamp from the post office official ensuring that the official has recorded the Transaction ID concerning the payment and put the and his/her initials at the designated places on the counterfoil. If the payment was successful, the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab turns green. If the payment tab has not turned green, then the candidate should immediately contact the concerned post office and get the payment status updated.   • After successful payment status, candidates need to upload a scanned colour passport size photo of light coloured background in jpeg format between 15 kb to 30 kb of size and resolution 150 x 200 pixels.
  • Also candidates need to upload scanned his/her signature with black/blue ink done on a plain white sheet should be of JPEG format of size 10 kb and 30 kb with dimensions of 150 pixels width and 100 pixels height.
  • After completing the above process candidates can take print out of application form and need to keep a soft copy or print out of application for future reference.

Note: Candidates don’t need to send the proof documents to the office of CEE
