KBN University Gulbarga is established as a Religious Minority University under the Act No. 18 passed by the state legislature of Karnataka. KBN University Faculty of Medical Sciences is one of the top private medical colleges in the state of Karnataka. The medical college is located in the Gulbarga district of Karnataka and has been imparting quality medical education at distinct levels. All programs are recognized by the National Medical Commission, New Delhi, and approved by the MoHFW, Govt. of India. 

The parent university is founded by the Khaja Education Society in 2000 and since then, KBNU Gulbarga is offering programs like MBBS and MD/MS at distinct levels. Eligibility Criteria for Admission to KBN University Faculty of Medical Sciences Gulbarga

Faculty of Medical Sciences Khaja Bandanawaz University is one of the top muslim minority medical colleges in Karnataka. Muslim students get preference as with 55% seats reserved for the muslim community. The counselling authority get all seats of AIQ to State Quota seats. There are some reservation under Govt. NRI Quota is also there in 15% of total seats. There are certain eligibility parameters, that have been formulated by the KEA Bengaluru. Candidates need to qualify for NEET-UG 2023 for MBBS Course and NEET-PG 2023 for enrollment into MD/MS programs. More details are mentioned below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. 

• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age on or before 31st Jan in the same year of applying. 

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET-UG 2023 with the required percentile.

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.

• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before the 11th of August in the same year of applying.

• Candidates must have qualified for NEET-PG 2023 with the required percentile.

• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.

Faculty of Medicine Khaja Bandanawaz University is offering 150 MBBS seats per session with due permission of the National Medical Commission. Now the college is affiliated with the Khaja Bandawnawaz University Gulbarga. 

Candidates need to qualify for NEET-UG 2023 followed by the counselling conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority i.e. KEA Bengaluru.
