KIMS, Bangalore was established in 1980 by the Vokkaligara Sangha.   • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same.

  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 


For MD/MS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
  • Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
  • Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
  • Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. KIMS, Bangalore offers MD and MS Courses in several clinical and para-clinical specializations, recognized by NMC, New Delhi. 

Students who wish to take admission in this college, need to obtain the required percentile in NEET followed by the counseling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore. Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore: MBBS Admission Process
