There are certain eligibility criteria defined to get admission to the MBBS program offered by KSMS Kathmandu. Most of the colleges affiliated with Kathmandu University offer a certain number of seats to foreign students.

  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 science containing Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with 50% aggregate in total marks.

  • The age of the applying candidates should be at least 17 years by the last date of submission of application.

  • Indian students must have a valid NEET 2024 Scorecard for the current academic year.

  • The General Category minimum NEET Score will only be considered for admission to the MBBS Program.

MEC Exam/Direct Admission based on NEET UG 2024

Note: 1) MEC i.e. Medical Education Commission, conducts the entrance examination for admission to Government Medical Colleges.

2) There is direct admission to private medical colleges based on NEET/SAT 1 score. Only the current academic year's NEET score will be considered for admission.

3) It is compulsory to fill out the MEC application form, and paying Rs. 5,000 (INR), for further admission to any Govt./Private medical college in Nepal.
