Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. IIMSR, Jalna is a privately established minority medical Institution in the state facilitating with appropriate reservation as per the order mentioned by DMER, Mumbai.

 To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses in IIMS&R, Jalna, the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.


For MBBS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
  • Candidates need to attain 17 years of age till 31st of Dec. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 


For MD/MS Aspirants:

  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
  • Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
  • Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
  • Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

Admissions to any of the Medical Courses in IIMS&R, Jalna are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research, Jalna offers MD and MS Courses in several Clinical and Non-Clinical programs.

As one of the newest Medical Colleges in the Jalna district of Maharashtra, the Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research, Jalna is imparting several Advanced Postgraduate Medical Courses. At present, IIMS&R offers MD in several Clinical and Non-Clinical specializations along with MS in Orthopaedics and ENT, etc with a duration of 3 years. 

All the admissions to these PG Courses in the IIMS&R, Jalna are based on the score of NEET-PG followed by the centralized counseling conducted by the Maharashtra Cet, Mumbai on the behalf of DMER, Mumbai.

Noor Hospital, Jalna: Hospital for Clinical Practice

Noor Hospital is a constituent of the Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research, located in Jalna district in the state of Maharashtra. Noor Hospital was established recently in 2016. The hospital is equipped with 300 beds and the medical center is well recognized by the Govt. of Maharashtra. Noor Hospital has been evolving over such a short span of time.

Likewise, to other multispecialty hospitals, Noor Hospital is armed with several medical and surgical facilities. Noor Hospital is a constituent teaching hospital aligned with the Indian Institute of Medical Science & Research. It has been offering much clinical exposure to its students for transforming them into expert clinical professionals.

Advanced infrastructure has been laid down as per the directives of NMC, New Delhi to train medical professionals and students. Some significant facilities provided by the Noor Hospital are mentioned below.
