ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is a national-level computer-based entrance examination conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education for MBA/PGDM programs for ICFAI Business Schools across India. More than 25000 students apply for this test every year. It is a 2-hour long test comprising 140 questions divided into 4 sections:

  • Verbal Ability
  • Quantitative Ability
  • Reading Comprehension
  • Data Interpretation Data Sufficiency

The application or exam form filling process starts in July and the exam takes place in December. Being an online exam, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education has made provisions for computer-based exams in more than 95 cities across India. The result of the IBSAT is declared in the last week of December.

IBSAT scores are accepted by all ICFAI Business Schools across India offering MBA/PGDM courses. The IBSAT scores are accepted by all ICFAI B-schools including IBS-Hyderabad, IBS- Pune, IBS- Ahmedabad, IBS- Kolkata, IBS- Gurgaon, and IBS- Mumbai. 

Some of the Non-ICFAI Business schools accepting IBSAT scores are GIBS Business School, Bangalore, J K Business School, Gurgaon, Adarsh Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), Bangalore, and Vanguard Business School, Bangalore.

 

IBSAT 2022

The Registration process for IBSAT 2022 will start from 6th July 2021, and the last day to register is 16th December 2021. The admit card can be downloaded from the official site from 20th December 2021. This will be a 2-hour exam with a total of 140 questions divided into 4 sections namely, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Reading Comprehension, Data Adequacy, and Data Interpretation.

 There is no sectional time limit and you can scroll to all sections all at once. The exam will be conducted on 25th and 26th December 2021. The timing of the examination will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

IBSAT 2022 RESERVATION CRITERIA

IBSAT is an online entrance exam to get admission into post-graduate courses like MBA/PGDM. There is a minimum qualification that is necessary to get admission, but there are no minimum marks needed for admission. Anyone can apply for the IBSAT exam if he /she had completed their graduation or in the final year of their bachelor’s degree.

The following is the detailed reservation criteria for IBSAT 2022

  • Candidates applying for IBSAT 2022 should have completed their graduation or in the final year of graduation.
  • Students with professional qualifications such as CA/CS/ICWA can also apply for IBSAT 2022
  • Students who are currently in their final year of their bachelor’s degree or are waiting for their results can also appear for the exam
  • Graduation scores must be a minimum of 50 percent aggregate for general/SC/ST/PWD candidates in any stream to apply for IBSAT
  • If the candidates’ graduation score is in the form of grades or CGPS, then the marks will be calculated by the methods suggested by the institute/university.
  • There are no minimum marks requirement criteria for admission, only a pass certificate is required.

IBSAT 2022 SYLLABUS

IBSAT 2022 will be divided into Four Sections with the Verbal Ability (VA) section consisting of 50 questions and the remaining sections consisting of 30 questions each.
