Hind Institute of Medical Sciences popularly known as HIMS located in Mau, Ataria in the district of Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. This Institute is one of the most reputed Private Medical Colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh that has achieved much in a very short span of time. HIMS, Sitapur was established in 2015 by the Hind Charitable Trust, Lucknow, and been affiliated with the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur abbreviated as CSJM, Kanpur.

HIMS, Sitapur is well recognized by the state medical authority, and courses conducted in the college are approved by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI), New Delhi. The college provides an ambient environment to learn and pursue quality medical education along with Modern training. Currently, the college has been permitted to admit 150 MBBS Students per session as per the guidelines laid down by the NMC, and also there are several permitted seats in various Clinical and Non-Clinical specializations at the Postgraduate level. Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Sitapur offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. PG seats are recently permitted by the National Medical Commission, New Delhi in several specializations. To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses in HIMS, Sitapur, the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same. 
• Candidates need to attain 17 years of age on or before the 31st of Dec in the year of admission. Less than mentioned age will not be entertained in any circumstances.
• Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG with the required percentile. 

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed MBBS from a recognized University by the NMC.
• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March in the same year of applying.
• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.
• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

All the admissions to any of the UG and PG Medical Courses in HIMS, Sitapur are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam i.e. NEET-UG and NEET-PG for Postgraduate courses. HIMS, Sitapur offers MD and MS Courses in several Clinical and Non-Clinical programs. However, seats are permitted so far from the National Medical Commission, New Delhi. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS in HIMS, Sitapur need to qualify NEET-UG followed by the Counselling conducted by UPDGME. All rounds of counselling held online. Students need to fill a ‘Service Bond’ that they will serve in the Govt. Hospital for a period of 02 years as ‘Senior Residents’. Failing to do so will invite a penalty of 40 lacs however for leaving the job in the middle of service will be compensated by a penalty of 1 Crore Rs.
