Dr. V.P. Medical College is popularly known as VPMC, Nashik. Since the inception of this medical institution, the college has been an integral part of state run Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and well recognized by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. Initially Dr. VP Medical College & Hospital was permitted to intake 100 MBBS seats as per the compliance with Medical Council of India, MCI later in 1992, the Medical Institution started to increase intake of 120.
