Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College is one of the oldest private medical colleges in the state of Kerala. The motto behind the inception of this medical institution is to serve rural people in terms of healthcare services and to promote quality medical education. 

CSI Medical College Karakonam was established in 2002, run by the Church of South India- South Kerala Diocese. CSI Medical College is managed and promoted by the South Kerala Medical Mission. The parent trust is a Charitable Society and is completely dedicated to promoting quality medical education and encouraging scientific temperament in society, especially in the Christian community. 

Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College is a Christian minority medical college and certain undergraduate seats are reserved as per the collective directions of the National Medical Commission and Govt. of Kerala. CSI Medical College is located in the Karakonam village, on the southern border of the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala.

For MD/MS Aspirants:

• Candidates need to have completed 1 Year of mandatory Internship on or before the 11th of July in the same year of applying.
