Diamond Harbour Government Medical College & Hospital is established in 2019 with due permission of the NMC New Delhi. However, it is just an upgraded version of the existing medical college which was previously known as Diamond Harbour Sub-divisional Hospital founded in 1974 later in 2012 it was converted to Diamond Harbour District Hospital, and in the year 2019, Diamond Harbour Govt. Medical College and Hospital was founded with the due permission of NMC New Delhi.

Since DHGMC Diamond Harbour is a government medical college, hence seat distribution for the MBBS program is performed by WBUHS Kolkata. The West Bengal University of Health Sciences Kolkata is the parent university of DHGMC Diamond Harbour, so candidates need to visit https://wbuhs.ac.in for admission to the MBBS program.

Diamond Harbour Government Medical College & Hospital is a premier medical college in the district of Diamond Harbour West Bengal. Eligibility Criteria for Admission to DHGMC Diamond Harbour

Diamond Harbour Govt. Medical College is known for its advanced medical courses imparted at distinct levels. There are certain eligibility criteria formulated by the collective guidelines of NMC New Delhi and WBUHS Kolkata. Domicile Candidates of West Bengal need to participate in the counselling conducted by WBMCC. For MBBS Candidates:

Candidates must provide a domicile certificate stamped and signed by the competent authority. Candidates can download the domicile certificate proforma from https://wbmcc.nic.in.

Candidates need to qualify for NEET-UG 2023 with the required percentile.

Candidates need to have passed 12th with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Reserved category candidates need to possess 40% of the same.

Candidates need to attain 17 years of age by 31st Dec in the same year of applying. Less than mentioned age shall not be considered under any circumstances.
