CPS Mumbai 2021-22: Admission Process


CPS Admission 2021-22 procedure is a state Centralised Online Admission Process. The sole authority to conduct online CPS Admission 2021-22 is DMER Mumbai.


Candidates need to visit the official website at https://med-edu.in for registration on the basis of NEET PG Score 2021. Candidates can apply to Diploma/Fellowship Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Maharashtra.


In order to secure a Clinical or Para-clinical (Diploma/Fellowship) seat in Deemed Medical College, Candidates will have to register at https://dmer.org. There are two rounds of counselling that take place followed by a Mop-Up round of CPS Admission 2021-22 is subjected to the availability of Diploma/Fellowship Seats after the 2nd round. 


Admissions to the Diploma and Fellowship courses in colleges of Maharashtra are solely based on the NEET PG 2021 score. Only NEET 2021 qualified candidates can participate in the CPS Mumbai Admission 2021-22. Details are being shared in the article below.


Registration:


  • Candidates have to register on the website i.e. https://med-edu.in and submit the counselling fee which is Rs. 3000 through Internet banking or any online mode.


  • DMER, Mumbai will publish the CPS Mumbai 2021-22 Seat Allotment list for the qualified candidate as per the secured marks and required percentile. Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in further events of Counselling.


Choice Filling:


  • Candidates need to fill in Online choices at the https://med-edu.in by using their registration number and Transaction Id generated at the time of registration.


  • Candidates have to fill their choices of colleges as per their priority. They can fill choices as many as they wish.


Allotment Result:


  • Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the DMER, Mumbai at https://dmer.org.   


  • Candidates are advised to download their allotment letter which needs to be produced at the time of reporting to the allotted college.


  • Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank, scored marks, and the choices of their preferences.


Reporting to Allotted College:


  • This is the final event when the candidates need to report to the allotted college with an allotment letter before the last date of admission.


  • Seats will be considered as confirmed, once the fee payment and verification of documents will take place.

CPS Mumbai 2021-22: Eligibility Criteria



  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-PG 2021.
  • Candidates must have the domicile of Maharashtra (Differ for Management/Institutional Quota)
  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from an NMC Recognized Medical College.
  • The candidates must have completed 1 year of Mandatory Internship on or before 3oth of September 2021.
  • Any Candidate who has obtained his/her MBBS degree from outside India must have a qualified FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) Screening Test along with 1 year of Internship likely to be complete on or before 30th of Sep, 21.
  • Candidate shall possess permanent registration certificate from NMC/MMC or any of the state medical council of the respective state at the time of joining.
  • Candidate seeking for CPS Diploma of Fellowship PG seat in Maharashtra in an institute run by Government, Corporation or any local body, should have passed MBBS from any institution situated in the state of Maharashtra.
  • Candidate belonging to General Category and EWS Category must secure minimum 50th percentile and candidate belonging to reserved category must secure 40th percentile.
