Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2021: Counselling Process


Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2021 is a state Centralized Online Counselling Process. The sole authority to conduct online NEET PG Counselling 2021 is Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board i.e. BCECE, Patna.

Candidates need to visit the official website at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in for registration on the basis of NEET PG Score 2021. Candidates can apply to MD/MS/PGD Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Bihar.

For All India Quota seats in Clinical or Para-clinical (MD/MS) seats in Private Medical Colleges, Candidates will have to register at https://mcc.nic.in. There are two rounds of counselling that take place followed by a Mop-Up round of NEET PG Counselling 2021 is subjected to the availability of MD/MS/PGD Seats after the 2nd round.

Registration: 

By entering NEET PG/NEET-MDS Roll no. and Date of Birth followed by a verification link to provide registered mobile no. and e-mail id, candidates can register for Bihar Neet PG Counselling 2021 at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The candidate must keep the User-Id and password confidential. The registered e-mail id given by the candidate will be the User-Id for further communication. 

Personal Details:

After successful registration, candidates need to sign in to the account created and fill in the required personal details. Click on the “Save & Continue” button.

Upload Photo & Signature:

Following providing personal details, candidates then need to upload photos as per the required dimension and bilingual signature (Hindi & English) after scanning the same. After uploading, click on the “Save & Continue” button.

Educational Details:

After uploading the signature and photograph, candidates will have to fill in the educational details as per the requirement. Then click on the “Save & Continue” button again.

Preview Application:

This is the last step before paying the counselling fee. Candidates can edit the details; they provided and upload them. They need to click on the “Back to Edit” button. Thereafter “Confirm & Submit” button to finally registered on the BCECE Portal.

Counselling Fee:

To ensure successful registration, candidates need to pay the counselling fee. For that, they must click on the “Proceed to Payment” button. There are multiple options being facilitated by the BCECE Board, Patna. Candidates can either deposit Bank Challan offline or can pay in Online mode through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Internet Banking. Candidates need to pay Rs. 2,200/- as counselling fee including the reserved and general category.

There will be a Mop-Up round after Round 2. Mop-Up/Final round is taken place when seats remain vacant after round 2 on the ground of Non-Availability or Non-Reporting of the candidates. Aspirants must be aware of the fact that the Mop-up/Final round will only be carried out by MCC for Deemed/Central Universities and ESIC Institutes.


Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-PG 2021.
  • Candidates must have the domicile of Bihar (Differ for Management/NRI Quota)
  • Candidates must have passed MBBS from an NMC Recognized Medical College.
  • The candidates must have completed 1 year of Mandatory Internship on or before 31st of March 2021.
  • Any Candidate who has obtained his/her MBBS degree from outside India must have qualified FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) Screening Test along with 1 year of Internship likely to be complete on o before 31st of Mar, 21.

Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2021: Counselling Process


The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board i.e. BCECE, which can also be visited at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in is the designated authority of the Govt. of Bihar to conduct the Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2021. BCECE, Patna conducts the counselling for the allotment of seats in various Medical/Dental/Postgraduate degrees and Diploma courses. First Round:

Candidates whom seats have been allotted need to visit the allotted college within mentioned time.


Second Round:


In this round, all NEET PG eligible candidates can apply and register at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in irrespective of the Bihar domicile and others. However, earlier choices submitted by the candidates will be considered null. Fresh choices of colleges and MD/MS Seats that need to be submitted are mandatory. 


Mop-Up Round:


This round of counselling is the last one and is subject to the availability of seats after completion of Round 2. The net vacant seats on account of Non-Joining, Non-Reporting of round 2 will be published in the seat matrix and eligible candidates have to submit fresh choices.
