ABOUT AYURVEDA IN INDIA

BAMS in India: Course Duration 

The entire duration of the Course of ‘Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery’ is 5.5 Years In which One Year of Internship is Mandatory. It can be accomplished in Health Camps, Wellness Centers, Ayurvedic Hospitals and also In Affiliated Private Ayurvedic Hospitals.

Eligibility Criteria for BAMS :

  • Students should pass 10+2 with 50% Marks from the Recognized Board.
  • Physics, Chemistry and Biology are the Compulsory Subjects in 12th Board.
  • Valid Score Card of NEET 

BAMS in India : Admission Process

Admission in Any Ayurvedic Medical College to Pursue ‘BAMS’ is Completely based on the Score Obtained in NEET followed by the Counseling. Once a candidate is qualified in the ‘NEET’ he/she will be able to take part in the Centralized Counseling Process where College will be Assigned on the basis of Performance in the ‘NEET’. Some Colleges may take Personal Interviews of the Candidate before Allotting Seats to them.
