Assam NEET UG Counselling 2021: Counselling Process

Assam NEET UG Counselling 2021 is a state Centralised Online Counselling Process. The sole authority to conduct online NEET Counselling 2021 is the Directorate of Medical Education i.e. DME, Assam. 

Candidates need to visit the official website at https://dme.assam.gov.in for registration on the basis of NEET UG Score 2021. Candidates can apply to MBBS/BDS Courses in government medical colleges in the state of Assam.

Admissions to the Medical/Dental/Ayush colleges of Assam are solely based on the NEET UG 2021 score. Only NEET 2021 qualified candidates can participate in the Assam NEET UG Counselling 2021. Details are being shared in the article below.

Registration:

  • Candidates have to register on the website i.e. https://dme.assam.gov.in and submit the counselling fee which is Rs. 500 (Irrespective of the category) through Internet banking or any online mode.
  • DME, Assam will publish the Assam NEET UG 2021 Seat Allotment List for the qualified candidate as per the secured marks and required percentile. Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in further events of Counselling.

Choice Filling:

  • Candidates need to fill in Online choices at the https://dme.assam.gov.in website by using their registration number and Transaction Id generated at the time of registration.
  • Candidates have to fill their choices of colleges as per their priority. They can fill choices as many as they wish.

Allotment Result:

  • Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the DME, Assam at https://dme.assam.gov.in
  • Candidates are advised to download their allotment letter which needs to be produced at the time of reporting to the allotted college.
  • Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank, scored marks, and the choices of their preferences.

Reporting to the Office of DME:

  • This is the final event when the candidates need to report to the office of DME, Assam Khanapara, Guwahati-22, with an allotment letter before the last date of admission.
  • Seats will be considered as confirmed, once the fee payment and verification of documents will take place.

Assam NEET UG Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG 2021.
  • Candidates must have the domicile of Assam (Differ for Management/NRI Quota)
  • Candidates must have passed 12th from recognized board
  • Candidates must have attained 17 years of age (born on or after 31st Dec 2004)
