The state of Andhra Pradesh is home to several world-class and advanced medical colleges and super-specialty hospitals. Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences Vijayawada has been assigned to carry out the state medical counselling for the PG aspirants. As far as UG (MBBS/BDS) seats are concerned, there are 4650 MBBS seats in Andhra Pradesh. 

The government medical institutes are having 2650 MBBS seats and 2000 seats at Private medical colleges. There are a total of 12 government medical colleges and 17 Private medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, which participate in the NEET UG Counselling 2021.

NEET UG 2021 Results have been declared, so AP MBBS Counselling 2021 is commenced from 23rd Nov 2021. Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada i.e. NTRUHS, Vijayawada is the sole competent authority to conduct AP NEET UG Counselling 2021, however for 100% seats in Deemed Medical Institutes in Andhra Pradesh, the MCC i.e. Medical Counselling Committee will carry out the Counselling for All India Quota seats.

Andhra Pradesh MBBS Counselling 2021: Counselling Process

Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2021 is a state Centralised Online Counselling Process. The sole authority to conduct online NEET UG Counselling 2021 is Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences i.e. NTRUHS, Vijayawada.

Candidates need to visit the official website at https://ntruhs.ap.nic.in for registration on the basis of NEET UG Score 2021. Candidates can apply to MBBS/BDS Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

In order to secure an MBBS seat in Deemed Medical College, Candidates will have to register at https://mcc.nic.in. There are two rounds of counselling that take place followed by a Mop-Up round of NEET Counselling 2021 is subjected to the availability of MBBS/BDS Seats after the 2nd round.

From 2021 onwards, as per the latest directives of MCC, the counselling for All India Quota will go on till stray round vacancy. None of any vacant/unclaimed seats will revert back to the respective state. More details can be sought from https://mcc.nic.in

Registration:

  • Candidates have to register on the website i.e. https://pg.ntruhsadmissions.com   and submit the counselling fee which is Rs. 2950/3540 through Internet banking or any online mode.
  • NTRUHS, Vijayawada will publish the Andhra Pradesh NEET 2021 merit list for the qualified candidate as per the secured marks and required percentile. Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in further events of Counselling.

Choice Filling:

  • Candidates need to fill in Online choices at the https://pg.ntruhsadmissions.com  website by using their registration number and Transaction Id generated at the time of registration.
  • Candidates have to fill their choices of colleges as per their priority. They can fill choices as many as they wish.

Allotment Result:

  • Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the NTRUHS, Vijayawada at https://ntruhs.ap.nic.in
  • Candidates are advised to download their allotment letter which needs to be produced at the time of reporting to the allotted college.
  • Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank, scored marks, and the choices of their preferences.

Reporting to Allotted College:

  • This is the final event when the candidates need to report to the allotted college with an allotment letter before the last date of admission.
  • Seats will be considered as confirmed, once the fee payment and verification of documents will take place.

Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG 2021.
  • Candidates must have the domicile of Andhra Pradesh (Differ for Management/NRI Quota)
  • Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board with 50% marks in PCB.
  • English must be a core subject during High school exams.
  • Candidates must have attained 17 years of age (born on or after 31st Dec 2004)
