Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the leading Private Medical colleges in Bellur. This College is popularly known as AIMS, Bellur. AIMS was established in the year 1986 by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust. The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. AIMS, Bellur runs the MBBS program as well as PG courses in many subjects that are recognized by the NMC (Earlier MCI). The hospital with 705 beds is also situated on the campus. 

AIMS, Bellur offers a full-time 5.5 years MBBS program including 1 Year of rotational Internship at the undergraduate level. The intake of MBBS students per academic year is 150, out of which 10% belong to SC/ST category candidates. AIMS, Bellur also provides MS, MD, and diploma programs at the postgraduate level.
