A J Institute of medical science and research is a premier hub for Medical Education. It is a private medical college, established in the year 2002 by Laxmi Memorial Education Trust. This college is popularly known as A J Medical College, Mangalore.  ‘AJIMS’ is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences and Recognized by the NMC (Earlier known as MCI).  AJIMS is located on a 30-acre campus surrounded by a lush green environment in the coastal paradise of Mangalore. The city is well connected by railways, roads and air respectively. The various buildings and blocks of the college on the vast campus represents the aesthetic look. The college building is constructed on sloping land, overlooking the city. This college is equipped with world-class labs and research facilities. Eligibility Criteria :

In order to get admission to this college, students must be passed 10+2 with a 50% 

marks in PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY and must possess NEET UG Medical Score Card.

Admission :

Candidates who are willing to take admission in AJIMS, Mangalore can apply under ALL INDIA QUOTA and STATE QUOTA as well. Students must apply for MBBS through online mode and register themselves on the Official Website of KEA for counselling. A list of documents will be needed to participate in the UG Counselling through KEA Website. The required list of documents are as follows :

• NEET Rank card
• Provisional Allotment Letter
• 10th & 12th Mark sheets with Certificates
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate
• Date Of Birth Certificate
• ID Proof (Aadhar/PAN/Driving license/Passport) 
• Caste certificate (for reserved category)
• Passport size photographs

Note: There are a total of 150 seats in AIMS, BELLUR for MBBS in which 60 seats (40%) are reserved under Government Quota, 60 seats (40%) are filled through COMED-K and the remaining 30 seats (20%) are reserved under Management Quota.
